Spring has felt slow to start this year, but the last few weeks have finally brought color back into the world. Here are a few shots from late April:

One of Ann Arbor’s sister cities is Hikone, Japan. There’s a housing development with that name in town, whose entry street is lined with enough flowering trees to suggest sakura season.

The Washtenaw Dairy looked magical with the trees flowering by the entryway.

The trilliums are out in profusion right now, giving the woods an ethereal quality.
